Our tribute to the Bell Family!

We are moving this Saturday. So sad! Everything happened so fast, I don't think we ever really had time to think about it, and now our beautiful house is not ours anymore. But we are looking foward to what comes next, spending more time with Maddy, hopefully a good vacation, and maybe more kids in the next couple years. We are still looking for our next home, which we hope will be close to the beach. But we will see...

More than our house and everything else, we will most miss our favorite neighbors ever the Bell Family. They have been amazing, so fun, so helpful, and such great friends. We have never experienced such a fun neighborhood and I think it is because they really bring the neighborhood together. They are great people. They are the really the reason we had such a hard time deciding to put our house up for sell.

This is Maddy's first boyfriend Taylor aka "Big Boy". He can eat more than any kid I have ever met in my whole life... ever! This will look great in their wedding video..

And here is my tribute to Colleen...

Being blessed at an indian engagement party...

Look.. No legs!...

Thanks Colleen for being so great! You are an amazing photographer! Woo hoo!

Maddy's Peeps

I took these a couple weeks ago and thought they looked so funny. These are Maddy's first Pony Tails. Enjoy!!

25 inches and 12lbs 8 oz today!

Another check up for the Maddikins today. She knew as soon as we walked into the room at the doctors office that she was going to get a shot. She went from happy to so sad as soon as she realized where we were again. She is very smart! The shot was no fun, but she was measured at 25 inches today which is in the 99% of babies in her age group. She is super tall and skinny and will definitely be taller than her daddy. Watch out Tony. (=

We love her so much! Maddy is the happiest most smiley baby ever! (Unless you stop paying attention to her). I thought this portrait of her was so sweet...

We love you Maddy!

4th of July!

So it's now the 14th of July, always late but worth the wait! Here are some highlights of our 4th of July get together with the family. We enjoyed our beautiful pool for it's last 4th of July with us. We will miss it! Amy and Rob brought their new puppy "Bruiser" to the pool party. I'm not a huge fan of dogs, but he was really cute. We can make an exception for him, though we forgot to send a thank you note for the present he left us on our back lawn. Thanks Bruiser!

We are so grateful to live in such a wonderful country and feel so blessed to all our ancestors who paved the way for us to be able to enjoy all the wonderful freedoms we have here. Happy 4th of July to everyone!

Maddy's First Kind of Vacation...

So we needed to get away this weekend from all our stresses and because we were having an open house, so we escaped to the Balboa Bay Club. Little did we know that vacations aren't going to be the same as they used to before Maddy. Sunday morning we weren't able to leave our room until 2pm becaue we were taking care of Mad Maddy.

Even though, we did have so much fun and are looking foward to many more vacations hopefully since we are out of our expensive mortgage. (= It was so great to get a break and just hang out as a family.

Here are some pictures from our little trip to Newport...

Maddy and Mia

Maddy loves tummy-time and is getting so good at holding up her head. She is already trying to crawl and shakes her booty around trying to move. Though all she does is flop over back on her side right now. (=

For anybody wondering where Maddy gets her hair from...

Maddy's first Duffy ride. This is so much fun! We just cruised the harbor with some of our favorite friends Bonnie and Scott. We definitely plan on doing this again! Give us a call if anyone is up for it!

And Maddy slept happily ever after....

Not really. (=

Mama Mia!

So we decided to put our house up on the market 2 weeks ago, had a open house this weekend, and to our total surprise, the house sold the second day! We are in escrow right now, and that means we are pretty much homeless. We'll keep everyone updated on that story...

So while we were having an open house this last weekend, we rewarded ourselves for all our hardwork getting the house ready to sell in less than a week, by going to the Balboa Bay Club for 2 nights. The first night we were there, Katie Hatch and her cute daughter Mia came down, and here are some of the portraits we shot there. She is such a beautiful little girl. She reminds me of the Coppertone baby since she is the tannest baby I know. (=

A wedding just finished on the lawn in front of the bay, so we had Mia play around in the flowers left over from the Ceremony. I thought these turned out so cute...
